Rocket scientist inspires the next generation

Amber Gell's visit a resounding success

Amber's return to Callington has seen her meet many different students. Her first talk was to the many Talented and Gifted students at the college. It was an opportunity for Amber to share how she has reached the position of Risk Manager on the Orion Space Capsule.

Amber spent time working with students building rockets and discussing how they can become successful in what ever career they choose. Amber shared with the students that the UK is a world leader in space technology and that her company Lockheed Martin is also successful in the United Kingdom. This was important for the students to learn that they can become involved in careers in the space industry.
