Callington Space Centre works with Lego education

For the fourth year in a row callington space Centre was asked to support lego education at the recent BETT Conference at Olympia London. BETT is the largest education show in the world that showcases cutting edge technology to support the class room. Mike Grocott spent the four days of BETT demonstrating how the centre uses the Lego NXT robot to deliver aspects of the science curruculum. The centre has run robotics workshops for schools for many years and now even run robotics residentials, the courses offer challenge, learning and most importantly FUN!!!!

Callington Space Centre hosts the Far South-West FIRST Lego League in the Autumn each year at which upto 12 schools compete to win a place at the National Finals. \for more info contact Lisa.
