Beavers blast into Space

Beaver packs from around the Caradon District converged on Callington Space Centre for a fun filled Space Day

70 Beaver Scouts from as far as Looe spent Saturday at the space centre. The packs where split into three mission teams and spent the day on activities as diverse as Kitchen science, rocket building and learning how to live in space and walk on the Moon.

The final prize giving took place on the launch site for the rockets, and culminated in a launch off between the best two rockets from each mission team. Congratulations to Orion team for winning the launch off.
