Introduction to Astronomy

Basic Introduction to Astronomy Course - Unfortunately this course is now postponed due to the severe weather

Start Date: 9th January 2010 - End Date: 9th February 2010

General operating techniques for using and setting up a telescope, understanding the night sky and learning how to observe and record observations.  Introductory understanding of the main constellations.

Course will be for one day 10am until 4pm.  Recommencing at 6pm until 8pm for the observations (weather permitting)

Cost £15 per person.  

Tea/coffee/biscuits are provided.
