Callington University of the 3rd Age

The Space Centre is offering a series of workshops on Monday afternoons following a general astronomy course.  

Start Date: 20th April 2009 - End Date: 18th May 2009

For the Callington branch of U3A we will be introducing The Planets, Stars,The Sun, Telecopes and Optics with a final practical session.

U3As are self-help, self-managed lifelong learning co-operatives for older people no longer in full time work, providing opportunities for their members to share learning experiences in a wide range of interest groups and to pursue learning not for qualifications, but for fun.
